Magaluf tourist warning following three British deaths after balcony falls

Three British tourists in Magaluf have fallen to their death from the same holiday resort this year alone.Eden Roc, the apartment block, has seen the travellers fall from their balconies in 2018.Calvia Council has urged the resort to block off the dangerous areas of the block where they have fallen from.They have warned that modifications must be carried out to prevent it from happening any further.At least two of the tourists fell from a 70 foot “walkway of death” between the blocks.In April, bar worker Natalie Cormack died after trying to climb around an overhang to her door after forgetting her keys.In June, 20-year-old Tom Hughes died after falling near the entrance when he confused the apartment block for his one.Just last week, Thomas Channon, 18 also died for the same reason and mistook the 12-storey block for his own accommodation.A friend of his who went to the spot where he fell warned that the wall was “way too low” and was just knee height.They explained: “Something has to happen now. It shouldn’t take all these kids dying to make sure proper precautions are in place.”The area they fell has been blamed for looking like “a garden” but in actuality ....
