Monitor media reports and follow the advice of the local authorities.“To learn more about what to do before, during and after an earthquake, see the website of the US Federal Emergency Management Agency.”However, the advice for Trinidad and Tobago has been updated since where the effects were also felt.The website says: “On 21 August 2018 Trinidad and Tobago experienced an earthquake in excess of magnitude 6.7.“Initial reports indicate damage to some buildings and communication networks.“If you’re in the area you should monitor local media, exercise caution and follow the advice of the local authorities. Aftershocks in the same area are possible.”The earthquake was felt as far away as the Caribbean with Barbados and St Lucia also ....
